Terms of play

Pilot version — free for testing. Features, maps and access arrangements may change before full release. This working draft is not a certification of legal compliance.

Who runs the game

Ludo My Town is an independent pilot run by Mohammad Asif. It is free: there are currently no subscriptions, payments, prizes or betting. This is a private beta test build, not the final release. Your internet or mobile provider may charge for your connection. For support, a question about these terms, or a privacy request, email support@ludomytown.app.

Beta access

Two public beta towns (currently Walsall and Birmingham) can be played against the computer or pass-and-play without an account. The other towns and private online games need a free beta account, signed in with a one-time link sent to your email address. Beta access is not a purchase, does not create a paid entitlement and does not promise that any town, feature or the beta itself stays available. Access may be suspended or withdrawn for abuse, security reasons or the end of the beta. To ask about your account, or to request its deletion, email support@ludomytown.app; deletion is handled manually, not by an automatic button.

Playing fairly

You may play for personal recreation. Choose a nickname, not a real name or contact details. Do not cheat, exploit bugs, impersonate others, harass people, post hateful material or try to get around a block. Share personal invitations only with people you trust. In online games the host makes one-use invites, valid for 30 minutes unless revoked sooner; a room code alone does not admit anyone.

Hosts may remove a player from the lobby. Removing someone from your private My players list does not block them; blocking is a separate action. A block is tied to the other person’s current guest browser identity, so a different browser or cleared browser data may not be recognised.

Matches and connections

The host can pause and resume an online match. If someone leaves an active match, their pieces are removed and the others carry on; if only one player remains, that player wins. A host closing the lobby closes that room for everyone. Please check the leave confirmation before choosing to leave.

Computer and pass-and-play games in the public beta towns can work offline after the game has been visited and cached on your device. Beta-account towns need a connection to check that your account is active before you start or continue, and online rooms always need a connection. A check made online cannot withdraw public town play that is already cached on a device. This pilot may have bugs or interruptions: saved games and continuous availability cannot be guaranteed. If something goes wrong, retry, refresh or start another match when possible. These terms do not remove rights or remedies you have under applicable law.

Younger players

If you are under 18, play with people you trust and ask a parent or guardian for guidance. Ages are not verified. There is no public matchmaking or free-text chat; private rooms have preset quick messages and emoji.

Ludo My Town’s visual design, board compositions, interface presentation and associated artwork were developed and directed by Mohammad Asif. Early concept and reference imagery was created by him using Adobe tools with a Google Gemini partner model, and was then selected, adapted and developed into the implemented product. This statement records the project’s creative provenance; it does not claim that every AI-generated element is independently protected or exclusive. Traditional Ludo is not claimed as Mohammad Asif’s invention.
